Posted by: vinashowbiz on Wednesday February 01, 2012 (06:20:22) Regular guests call restaurants with striptease a ‘box,’ as each small room is thorougly secluded by partitions without a window, and each man is coupled with a young ‘worker of entertainment’.
They are all guarded by bulky men at the entrance gate. Motorbikes are also parked with the number plates facing the wall, as if to hide their owners’ identification.

5-year-old, fast and dangerous (video)
Posted by: vinashowbiz on Monday October 31, 2011 (18:21:36) A 5-year-old boy was spotted riding a motorbike with his father in the back, both not wearing the compulsory helmets in District 12’s Le Van Khuong Street in Ho Chi Minh City last Thursday evening.
The boy crouched towards the handlebar and skillfully maneuvered the throttle grip. As his legs were too short to step on the break, it was quite dangerous if there was a sudden obstacle ahead. Sitting in the back with his hands upon his thighs, the man just kept smiling rather than trying to protect the kid. Reporters had to speed up to 50km/h and squeeze among the crowd to follow and film this fast and furious kid driver. Noticing they were being filmed and photographed, the man acted pleased and satisfied at his kid’s ‘talent’. From reporters’ findings, this underage driver is called Thai Tuan and is still attending kindergarten. “My son is very good. He’s been driving me for a year,” complimented Hoang Phong, the man in the back.

A Saigon Love Story
Posted by: vinashowbiz on Tuesday July 26, 2011 (06:08:53) Since moving to Saigon last year, one of the most common questions I’ve gotten – whether from locals, other expats, or friends and family back home – has been: “Do you like Saigon?” The answer has always been quite easy. Yes, I do. In fact, I often say that I love it. Explaining that answer, though, can be a bit difficult.
